  6. A New and different Voting Booth program for DLG BBS

  9. There are other voting booth programs out there for DLG, but none did what
  10. I wanted them to do!  So I wrote my own in Arexx and compiled it with
  11. RexxPlus.  (RexxPlus Library included in this archive)
  12.  
  13. **FEATURES**
  14.  
  15.  * Will write a message to a specified message area when a NEW vote
  16.    topic is created.
  17.  * When a Vote Topic is deleted.. it can/will write a message to a
  18.    specified message area giving all the Vote Topic results.
  19.  * Allows you to create a log on bulletin of voting booth results.
  20.    Thanks to Ron Reynolds POSTBUL program! (Included)
  21.  * Can optionally keep a log of who does what.
  22.  * Can hold up to 16 different vote topics.
  23.  * Can hold up to 16 vote topic answers per topic.
  24.  * Will allow any user to add an answer to a topic if there are less then
  25.    16 answers and if the creator of the vote topic will allow it.
  26.  * When a new vote topic is created.. the creator is given the options to
  27.    enter all answers themselves, which would not allow anyone else to
  28.    add an answer to the vote topic.
  29.  * Sysop access to TheVotingBooth is determined by the members name.  This
  30.    is OPTIONAL.
  31.  * Sysop's have access to remove vote topic, edit vote topic (and all of
  32.    its fields), delete one or more answers from a topic (not just edit it)
  33.    and optionally append vote results, to a viewable file from the main
  34.    main menu, when a vote topic is deleted.
  35.  * When a QUESTION topic is DELETED by the SysOp (Or anyone else who has
  36.    access to the SysOp menu) you are given the option to write all of the
  37.    vote topics QUESTION, TIME FRAME, ANSWERS, PERCENTAGES OF VOTES etc. etc.
  38.    to a file called [PastVotes.Txt] (Hard Coded Name) and with DLG's Color
  39.    switches (%a4 etc.), which then CAN be read from within the program
  40.    by using the 'P' Function on the main menu.  This would allow users
  41.    to read OLD vote results.  It is up to you when you want to edit this
  42.    file down in size (if it grows huge!).
  43.  * Allows you to create your own text file (or ANSI) that will be shown
  44.    to all users when they run the program (OPTIONAL).
  45.  * Can now be run in two seperate places if you wanted one to work just for
  46.    a particular set of users.
